POTENSI MANFAAT KESEHATAN BERDASARKAN BUDAYA MAKAN LALAPAN MASYARAKAT SUNDA

This study aims to determine the health potential based on the eating culture of Sundanese traditional salad (lalapan). The study design of this research was cross-sectional with 90 subjects. Data collection was carried out starting from November 2018 – February 2019 in three locations, such as Gunung Malang Village, Gunung Sari Village, and Leuweung Kolot Village. The data collected included the characteristics of the subject, the type of lalapan consumed, and the benefits that the subject felt from consuming lalapan. The results showed that 93.33% of subjects felt their appetite increase when they ate lalapan. 67.78% felt the body was fresher, 37.78% rarely sick, and 35.56% used lalapan as a medicine for diarrhea/stomach ache/gastristis.
