FORMULASI DAN UJI EFEKTIVITAS SEDIAAN LOTION FRAKSI DAUN KECAPI (Sandoricum koetjape) SEBAGAI ANTI NYAMUK

Abstract

Anti-mosquito lotion is known as a type of household pesticide that is used to protect the body's skin from mosquito bites. Flavonoid compounds inhibit the respiratory system when mosquitoes breathe. Flavonoids are one of the components of lyre leaves. The aim is to determine insecticidal activity and how much potential harp leaf extract has as an insecticide against mosquitoes. The research method was carried out experimentally, namely in the form of a lotion preparation with the N-hexane fraction of harp leaves as formula 1, the ethyl acetate fraction of harp leaves as formula 2, and the distilled water fraction of harp leaves as formula 3. The harp leaves, which had become dried simplicia, were extracted using the method of maceration with a 96% ethanol solvent. Next, compound identification was carried out using TLC and phytochemical screening, then lotion preparations were made, the preparations were evaluated, and the effectiveness of the lotions of the three formulas against mosquitoes was tested. The results obtained showed that the three lotion preparations contained alkaloids, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds. And after testing its effectiveness, it showed that the harp leaf aquadest fraction lotion had an effect of ± 40 minutes. Meanwhile, the lotion from the ethyl acetate fraction of kecapi leaves and the N-hexane fraction of kecapi leaves had an effect of ± 60 minutes.
