Gambaran Peresepan Obat Antihipertensi pada Salah Satu Puskesmas di Kota Bogor

Abstract

Medicine as one of the important elements in health efforts, starting from efforts to improve health, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery must be endeavored to always be available when needed. Drug demand or procurement is an aspect that must be carried out in accordance with the needs of existing drugs so that there is no shortage of drugs. With guaranteed availability of drugs it is easy to increase prescribing and rational use of drugs. The aims of this study to set an overview about the prescribing of hypertension drugs in geriatric patients (≥ 60 years of age) based on drug classes.

This study was descriptive research which conducted retrospectively by collecting data from the medical records of hypertensive patients in Puskesmas X in 2020. This study used purposive sampling method with 86 medical records as the samples.

There were 52 female patients (60%) and 34 male patients (40%). 66 patients (77%) in the age range of 60-69 years, 15 patients (17%) in the age range of 70-79 years and 5 patients (6%) in the age range of 80-89 years. The number of prescriptions for a single drug is 652 prescriptions, 66% of the prescribing was single drug administration is calcium antagonistic, Amlodipin (97%), the most widely used drug class. While the number of prescriptions of two antihypertensive drug combinations was 48 prescriptions, 34% of the prescribing was two antihypertensive drug combinations with the most widely used drug is Amlodipin-Hydrochlorothiazide (94%). The most comorbidity of hypertension is diabetes (9,3%).
