PENGARUH EDUKASI GIZI TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN TERKAIT GIZI DAN KESEHATAN PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

The pandemic outbreak caused by SARS-Cov-2 has had an impact on the entire world population, marked by the emergence of policies implementing self-isolation, work-from-home quarantine, and online education which can change healthy lifestyles and create mental health threat. This research aims to analyze the effect of nutrition education on nutrition and health knowledge during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research used a one-group pre-post test study design conducted on 54 early adult subjects aged 19-29 and spread across ten provinces. The data collected includes socio-demographic characteristics and pre-test and post-test results at each meeting by filling out a questionnaire via google forms. This research was conducted over four meetings with five discussion topics. The results of this study show that most subjects are female with an age range of 19-24 years who live in West Java province. Most subjects' educational levels are classified as colleges with team member jobs. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there has been an increase in the subject's knowledge or understanding of the material or topic presented, marked by an average increase in knowledge of 15.19 points to 30 points. This research suggests that providing nutritional knowledge regularly can increase motivation in adults to behave in a healthy lifestyle, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic or during the non-pandemic period. Apart from that, it can increase the frequency of providing nutrition education so that it can see and analyze related attitudes and practices.
