GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN KEMAUAN IBU TENTANG PIJAT LAKTASI UNTUK MELAKUKAN PIJAT LAKTASI DI PMB NY.D

Abstract

Knowledge is something that a person knows that is related to health, illness or wellness. Each person has different knowledge depending on each individual's perception of something. In this  case, lactation massage is an effort to avoid breast engorgement due to accumulation of breast milk due to irregular discharge or the baby's sucking being less than optimal. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about lactation massage in breastfeeding mothers and the  mother's willingness to perform lactation massage at PMB Ny. D Bogor. This research uses a  descriptive analytical design with a Cross-Sectional approach, namely research where the  researcher measures or observes independent and dependent variable data only once at a time. The  total research sample was 35 people. By analyzing data using uni-variate and bivariate tests. From  the research results, it can be concluded that the results of the chi-square test show that the Sig Value  (P-Value) is 0.046 (< 0.05), so it can be concluded that the calculation results state that there is a  relationship between knowledge about lactation massage in breastfeeding mothers and the  willingness of breastfeeding mothers. to do lactation massage, at PMB Ny. D.
